Devices at Pascoe Vale Primary School

iPads
Specific lessons at Pascoe Vale Primary School are delivered with the use of iPads for students in
grades Prep to 2. Shared class sets are available for student use for different learning activities.

BYOD Devices at Pascoe Vale Primary School
Our school operates a Bring Your Own Specified Device (BYOD) program for students in grades 3 to 6, which means students can bring their own purchased or leased device with them to school each day.
All devices that you can choose from on our selected list meet the required specifications to run a successful program at Pascoe Vale Primary School.  All devices are to be purchased from any retail store/source that stocks the chosen device at your convenience. All purchased devices will need to be brought into school to have the school’s wireless internet certificate installed for school access.

Pascoe Vale Primary School takes no responsibility for lost or damaged devices. Insurance/extra warranty and damage protection cover are highly recommended if participating
in the 1:1 BYOD program.

Pascoe Vale Primary School has in place arrangements to support families who may be experiencing long or short-term hardship to access devices for schoolwork.

Students, parents and carers who would like more information or assistance regarding our BYOD program are encouraged to contact the school on 9354 1611. If you have specific queries regarding a device, you can also email the IT technician Alistair Woodward via email at 3081-support@schools.vic.edu.au
